We recently had Berkeys out for a water heater repair, and I wanted to share what a great experience we had. Our technician, Alejandro Sanchez, was on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything and made sure the repair was done correctly. The office staff was also wonderful to work with—very friendly, great communication, and they sent a follow-up text with the appointment information and details about the technician who would be arriving, which I really appreciated. Our water heater was still under warranty, and Berkeys handled everything exactly as they should have, and the repair ended up costing us $0. It was a very smooth and easy process. We use Berkeys for Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC, and they truly are a one-stop shop. Highly recommend! ~ Lisa S

Today I had Randy, an A/C Tech perform my semi annual inspection/tune up. First off I really like the way Berkeys keeps me informed, with reminders, of when the inspection is due.On the day they notify that the Tech will arrive within 45 minutes and I can track his movements on my phone. Randy arrived on time and performed the Inspection/Tune up on both of my Units, both of witch I purchased from Berkyeys within the past three years. Randy was thorough and professional and kept me informed on the status of the units both interior and external. In the three plus years that I have been doing business with Berkeys I have been very impressed with how easy it is to deal with them. I have confidence that my A/C, Plumbing/ Electrical etc. are in good hands with Berkeys. ~ Ross S

This was my first time using Berkeys’ and I was very pleased with the thorough and prompt service that I received. I had been having an inconsistent customer service experience with my previous service provider, and became extremely frustrated with just how much effort it was taking to even get an appointment scheduled…much less actual proactive and detailed service assessments. Darius from Berkeys’ came out and gave probably one of the most thorough assessments in layman’s terms and pictures to reference the issue and put me in a position to make an informed decision about my options. It was a smooth process and the installation crew was timely, courtesy and clean! I was able to have my AC up and running the very next day! ~ Shane R

Great and professional service. The guy was very polite and efficient and capable. Still Berkeys is the highest price operator I have encountered. If I owned the company, I would love them. They always try to upsell when they come. It might be an insulation cover for your attic door leading to the roof, or some light purifier $3k on your system, or soft-start $900 or quickstart $400, add-on to the HVAC system they sold. To me, this is not bad, it is just like dealing with a car dealership, you are going to pay too much, but it will be done well and turnkey. There will be no real input of necessary or could wait. I would just suggest taking their quotes, doing more research and getting bids. I kind of admire the company for aggressively chasing revenue out of customers like me. I do trust their work quality. ~ Brandon J

Mike Harris Director of Service Berkeys Dear Mike, I want you know that I consider your service tech, Alex Galindo, one of the best representatives I've ever seen working in plumbing or any other field. I hope you realize how fortunate you are to have him on your team. He went out of his way to address all our questions, offered us various alternatives for the work we needed done, and made sure that he didn't overpromise what the company could and couldn't do. In short, Alex is a gem. You should make sure you pay him well. If you lose him, you'd be losing one of your greatest assets. This was our 2nd plumbing experience this year using Berkeys Plumbing services. Our home was built in 1985. We had bath vanity faucets upgraded two months ago. Results were amazing. We called them for a garbage disposal replacement today. An interior water leak was discovered in the sink wall. It was video traced and repaired the same day. We cannot adequately express our satisfaction at the friendly, prompt response to our call and professional workmanship performed by their highly competent and experienced serviceman Alex. Work areas were left spotless. We will be calling upon Berkeys and requesting Alex for future planned bath and shower fixture upgrades in 2026. The initial technician Darius gave me good, better, best options for my issues. Straight forward not salesy. I chose to replace my HVAC and worn ducts. I liked that they looked at where the existing ducts were and whether they met my current needs vs just installing a new unit with the same configuration. They finished the install about a month ago and the suggestions they made resulted in a noticable improvement in the cooling and airflow. All of the HVAC installers were great. After a full 12 hrs of work Usiel was walking me through the use of my thermostat. He noticed some insulation that was stuck in a vent. He went back out, got his ladder to remove it. I'm sure after a long day, working in a hot attic, he'd much rather just overlooked it. I'm a repeat customer as the installed my last HVAC several years ago as well. ~ N

I contacted Berkey's and made an appointment. James arrived on time as scheduled and introduced himself. He was very kind. I showed him a lighting fixture I had purchased because changing the light bulbs in the previous one had been virtually impossible. He assured me he could change it out for me, and proceeded to do just that. There was one hiccup. Apparently, the old fixture required the world's smallest Allen's wrench, but James wouldn't let me panic. He said he'd figure it out, and he did. He changed the fixture, cleaned the dust around the new fixture (left on the wall by the old one), gathered up all the trash, and even helped me get the mess into the dumpster. I was so pleased when he was finished my eyes were brimming with tears. I hope James is around the next time I need an electrician. Thanks, Berkey's. Since 2022 Berkeys has been our vendor of choice for plumbing and electrical work from small jobs such as a sewer line clean out up to very large jobs including a whole house generator install. Berkeys can work from technician generated repair or maintenance estimates or from customer supplied detailed drawings and specifications. Technicians have all been competent, have been well equipped, showed up when scheduled, and done high quality work in a timely fashion. On large jobs requiring non plumbing/electrical work such as concrete or carpentry Berkeys has been willing to accommodate scheduling with outside vendors. All work has passed inspection when needed. ~ Ron T

Our experience with Berkeys today was top notch! When we got home today and the realized the air conditioner was not working properly we immediately called Berkeys and a few hours later Courtney arrived at our house to assess the situation. He professionally explained the issue and resolved the matter very quickly. He had the air conditioner fixed in no time and the house began cooling down on this hot summer day! I would highly recommend Berkeys to anyone. They were there to expedite the issue and professionally resolve the problem. We had the pleasure of meeting Derrick Olwalia from Berkeley’s Plumbing & Electrical for a quote, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even though no fix was performed that day, Derrick went above and beyond in walking us through every possible step and outcome. He essentially gave us a full risk analysis so that, as new homeowners, we could understand not only what needed attention now, but also what could come up later. His 12 years of experience really showed in the way he explained things clearly and patiently, never making us feel rushed or pressured. On top of his expertise, Derrick’s personality and character made the entire interaction reassuring and easy. It was refreshing to meet someone so genuine, knowledgeable, and communicative. I have been usibg Berkeys company for more than one decade on both our residential property and Rental property for all three services of electrical plumbing and AC they use their best expert technicians in the field this past experience we had major water leaking on rental property which we originally thought might have been related to AC Condensation which we shut off water in that areawe called berkeys and they sent plumber technician he ran some tests and efficiently found root cause and fixed it we got the water back on and everything is working fine since then we truly trust the technician expertise from berjeys ~ Ellie A

I contacted Berkeys to check on my water pressure. I was in need of a new pressure reducing valve as well as a water heater expansion tank. Nathan Hinte was sent. He is the absolute best! He was personable as well as very knowledgeable about what was needed. He explained it to where I could understand. He went above and beyond. My pressure is so much better. I never knew it was that bad. He also fixed my water meter rank to where it is now level to the ground. He really made my day! I added Berkeys to my contact list for future issues. Our ac quit working on us last week. after reaching out to 2 other companies to get a diagnosis, we were able to work with Berkeys to get a new thermostat and ensure the part was covered under warranty. Our technician Zach was professional, quick, and efficient. He was able accomplish in 45 minutes what took the other companies 3 to 5 hours but he actually provided us with a solution. The labor costs was actually reasonable compared to other companies as well. Highly recommend this company for your hvac needs especially so if you need someone experience with the Lennox hvac system. ~ Leshia G

From the start, Ryan came to do an estimate. I saw how professional he was, measuring and checking the electrical requirements to this AC install. Gave a good point on a bigger unit than what I have currently. The thing that made me go with Berkey’s, is that the estimate quote was the honest price he gave from the start. I had 3 other companies that came, but was all higher in price. Plus the main was the Brand Lennox. The other companies gave me other lower end brand with a higher price quote. So when Ryan gave me this quote, it’s already lower than the competitors and with the Lennox brand! That sealed the deal.. This is the only company that you should call for all your AC needs. I got the New AC install the NEXT day! They are true with there slogan, “Where there when you need us” it was Hot and didn’t want my tenant to suffer.. They came in the morning, done at 1pm.. I’m a professional installer myself, so I give this company 5 Stars all the way! ~ Peter K

While charging my EV in the garage one night, the NEMA 4 plug overheated and burned, which caused the charger to stop working. The electrician who came out explained that the outlet needed to be connected to a GFI circuit breaker, as regulations have changed since the original charger installation. He was very polite, clearly explained the issue, and provided a fair quote before starting the work. The repair was completed in less than two hours, and everything is now working perfectly. I was very pleased with the service and the quality of his work. ~ Les H

Whe When you get a technician that represents the company he/she works for at the highest level, It's great to be able to share that with others. Berkeys technician Steven Johnson was knowledgeable, experienced, informative, and answered all my questions with very helpful information about how my system works and how to keep it working efficiently for how hot/cool I like my house. I have a dual damper system that make maintaining a comfortable temperature, in any room, difficult. I highly recommend this company, and when needed ask for Steven to be your technician of choice. ~ BJ C

My initial request was for my annual plumbing inspection (i.e. Berkey's Exclusive Membership Plan). I expanded this opportunity to include the replacement of my kitchen sink faucet. This was our first experience with Berkey's All-In-One program, and we were a little apprehensive. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I was pleased to receive advanced notice of the tech's arrival time and a photo of my technician, Eric Brunken. Eric was outstanding. He was courteous, articulate and well organized. After a quick review of the pending task, he immediately began evaluating the state of my plumbing system and developed a plan of action. Eric performed quality assurance tests on my entire system, flushed two water heaters and replaced my sink faucet. In addition, he removed all debris and cleaned the workspace before closing out the project. My wife and I could not be happier. Donald Gentry is an outstanding plumber and explained the situation with our toilet clearly. He offered us three choices for the replacement of our commode with the different prices for each. He was able to get the toilet we chose completely replaced the same day. The job was done professionally and the room was clean when he finished the job, within a short period of time. Mr. Gentry was professional, helpful, and careful to explain the problem and the solution in detail. The service technician was very nice and professional. We had another company come out a week ago to repair a gas leak on our dryer line. That person couldn’t find the leak and told us we didn’t have one, even though the gas company told us exactly where the leak was. Soon after he left, we smelled gas again. The Berkeys technician was diligent and found the leak. He didn’t just replace the line and fittings but he made less connections so we hopefully won’t have this problem again. I love to use Berkeys because I feel like they have the best people. ~ Evelyn M

I had a water leak from my hot water system which dripped down to my dining room ceiling. Of course it happened on a Saturday when you cannot find a plumber. Thought I would be without hot water for the weekend. Turned out Berkeys had a plumber available and was at my home in 30 minutes. Berkeys also referred me to a Company that determines damages incurred. They were here in 20 minutes. They also helped me in reaching my insurance company. Terrific help. Much appreciated. No one wants to have to call a plumber but if you need one, Berkeys is the best. They come right when you need them and their staff is fantastic. Randy Sitto was my technician and he was extremely knowledgeable, professional & so pleasant that I already asked if I’d be able to ask for him should I need their services again. Even though my initial call was for a leak in the bathroom he was kind enough to fix my last minute clogged kitchen sink - saving me from having to make an additional appointment. The technician was on time scheduled first appointment in the morning and he arrived right around 8:00AM as scheduled We discussed the plumbing problem we were having and he identified the problem presented options to fix our issue in a very professional and understandable explanation Did the work fixed the problem cleaned the area he had worked in suggested ways to perhaps avoid having the problem in the future and made sure we were satisfied with his work before he left Technician was polite knowledgeable and professional working with us. ~ Steve K

The advisor came on a Thursday, new HVAC system was installed by 5pm Friday. From the beginning to the end of the installation the employees of Berkeys Plumbing, A/C & electrical were amazing. Every step of the way all were pleasant, polite, professional and highly knowledgeable. HVAC is extremely necessary and pricey. As a single homeowner i was amazed by the affordable yet high quality options offered. I referred my co-worker who got a quote today! Very highly recommend to anyone in need.
